Our Story

I’m Kris, a custom woodworker with a love for simple, timeless design. I build functional, handcrafted furniture that’s meant to last a lifetime. Whether it’s a dining table or a unique sideboard, every piece is made with care, intention, and solid materials.

My path to woodworking was shaped by both family and experience. I grew up in a home where design and craft were part of everyday life. My father, an architect, built much of our furniture by hand, and my mother’s love of mid-century modern design gave me an early appreciation for clean lines and functional beauty. Those early influences continue to guide my work today.

I spent several years renovating homes, where I developed a broad skill set and a strong eye for detail. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the woodworking side of things—the precision, the creativity, and the opportunity to build pieces that would live with people for years to come. That focus eventually became the foundation for this business.

My work is rooted in mid-century modern principles, blending timeless aesthetics with everyday usability. I aim to create furniture that is both visually striking and built to last, with a balance of form and function at the core of every design.

Outside the shop, I enjoy time outdoors, hiking with my dog, making music, and finding inspiration in the simple things. Woodworking, for me, is part of a larger commitment to quality, craft, and creating work that endures.
